The Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver were founded on November 7, 1909 in Mobile, Alabama; the Cleveland organization was established with the blessing of Bishop James P. Lyke in 1981 as the Louis Herzog Court. The Knights and Ladies offer service to the community in various ways: assist families with meals, adopt a family to offer financial help and assist at shelters and with meal programs. The Junior Daughters seek to build good character and develop leadership skills, promoting and enhancing the spiritual and social well-being of the junior members. Membership is open to all Catholic youth ages 7-18 who have received their First Communion. Contact any Knight or Lady of Peter Claver for membership information.
