Acolytes
Acolytes (from the Greek meaning “attendant”) assist the priest and the deacons during the celebration of the mass. They carry the cross and candles, tend to the “censer and boat” when incense is used, hold the “big red book” (Roman Missal) of prayers for the mass and help in any way they are needed. Anyone over the age of 10, girl or boy, man or woman, can serve in this ministry. Please contact Deacon Ron James for assistance with training and scheduling.
